This little blogging hiatus of mine is slowly coming to an end! Since it's already spring, i'm going to  share one of the most simple and stunning outdoor weddings I've had the pleasure of working on. Erin and Joe's wedding was such a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed working closely with Erin and her mom Kathy on decor ideas and creating their flowers. They worked on a lot of the details themselves, and I could tell that they had so much fun with the DIY process. The amazing Heather Kincaid captured the entire day beautifully.

The ceremony took place in Erin's childhood home in Tiburon, a little town 5 minutes past the Golden Gate Bridge.

The color scheme was a buttery yellow and purple with accents of gray. I kept the arrangements simple, fresh, and modern- a reflection of the couple's own personal style. For her bouquet, I used cream english garden roses, lisianthus, calla lily, phalaenopsis, and purple vanda orchids. Isn't she just one stunning bride?

The junior bridesmaid carried a petite bouquet of english garden roses and light purple lisianthus.  She looked so sweet! For the dapper groom, I created a simple calla lily buttonhole.

Erin and Joe exchanged vows with an incredible view of the water as their backdrop. I created lush and romantic poufs of flowers for Kathy's planters to accent the ceremony area.

They rented a cable car trolley to get the wedding party from their home to the reception site - the Corinthian Yacht Club.

For the centerpieces, we created petite arrangements in varying heights and sizes accompanied with some glass cylinders and pillar candles, and lots of votives. Each place setting was adorned with a sprig of lavender. The bentwood chairs  and the butter silk linens look so lovely against the more modern flower decor.
