The challenge in creating minimalist spaces lies in finding the perfect balance between simple yet intriguing, raw yet refined,  clean yet cozy. I'm loving everything about this space - the muted tones, rich contrast, the mixture of finishes. Layers of linen frame the platform bed creating a room within a room without sacrificing light or precious square footage. The juxtaposition of the low frame and the drapes hung all the way from the ceiling gives the illusion of a taller space. Bright, airy and extremely relaxing. The cave-like sleeping nook draws you in with the contrast of dark linen lining the interior. I cant get enough of the seamless storage cabinets and the fine, well-thought out details (like the discrete inset drapery mechanism). It seems like the ultimate blend of practical, livable and luxe simplicity.
