Jo Malone : Rare Teas

May 01, 2016

Meet my new favorite scent: Jo Malone's Silver Needle Tea - a delightfully fresh and romantic fragrance artfully crafted using fine rare tea grown in the lush valleys of Fujian, China.

Last week I had the pleasure of welcoming the new Jo Malone boutique on Union Street into the neighborhood. We spent the morning sipping on delicious tea by Bellocq and sampled the new Rare Teas collection - a stunning new fragrance lineup created by Master Perfumer Serge Majoullier.

The collection consists of six scents, infused straight from the leaf into a refined fragrance - beautifully packaged in a new bottle design. Rare teas are sourced from the Japanese Foothills, China and the Himalayas- each bud meticulously hand-picked and prepared. They are all deliciously comforting, each with their own distinct personality.

Silver Needle Tea- Fresh, light, delicately floral
Jade Leaf Tea- Herbaceous, invigorating
Darjeeling Tea - Floral, exotic
Oolong Tea - Earthy, sweet, creamy
Golden Needle Tea - Spicy and woody
Midnight Black Tea - Sultry and seductive, smoky

A signature scent for everyone.  Pared back and luxurious, the collection is pure elegance -the art of tea translated into a memorable and invigorating sensorial experience.

The new Rare Teas collection will be available in 175 ml bottles at select Jo Malone boutiques. Visit the gorgeous new San Francisco location at:
