Cuyana bag.  Missguided coat (old, similar here). Old Navy tee (another  favorite). Zara jeans (similar). Gucci sandals (similar, budget-friendly option). Dior sunglasses.

We had a lovely brunch-filled weekend - catching up with friends and celebrating mother's day. Dining out can be tricky with kids, but we always have a wonderful time at Wayfare Tavern - fancy enough for mom and dad, yet their dishes are simple enough for young palates! I highly recommend their fried chicken and their homemade donuts.

Playing with proportions! This combo of wide leg cropped jeans, heeled mules and a half-tucked top is on heavy rotation. I feel it's the most flattering way to wear the denim trend. In this previous post, I was aiming for a more relaxed vibe.

(Almost) Vintage:  I've had this long sleeve mock-neck tee for ten...... TEN years! It's older than Natalie. The best part? It cost me less than $10, and I got it at Old Navy. It just goes to show that quality can be had without spending a fortune. With proper care, bargain finds are great- if not, better investments. The trick is knowing what fabrics hold up well over time. I've found that anything 100% cotton and machine washable extra fine merino wool, cashmere and silk are wonderful.

New in:  This Cuyana saddle bag (a mother's day present from the hubby!) - beautifully handcrafted with thoughtful, minimalist details. I'll be reaching for this often since it's perfectly sized for everyday essentials or travel - my compact camera fits perfectly!

Recent splurge:  These Gucci Cross Strap Sandals. I've been lusting after these since last fall, and finally bit the bullet. They are ridiculously high, but surprisingly easy to walk in. Although, I think it's going to take a few wears to break them in. I'll post detailed reviews on this bag and the heels in separate posts!

Thank you so much for dropping by! Have a great week ahead.
