We celebrated my best friend's Rocio and Tristan's official wedding yesterday. It was such a beautiful and elegant affair, set in the backyard of her grandfather's estate. Still have to go through all the photos (and of course, ask for her approval before I post!) - but for now, I can share what I wore.

Local, Filipino designer Vania Romoff created this custom dress for me. I can't tell you how much I love it. Vania has a way of making women feel amazing with her designs - often described as architectural, modern yet timeless and ultimately flattering. I had planned on wearing something else, but decided this was actually a better choice considering the unusually super chilly Manila weather. The dress is so comfortable and I felt so confident wearing it. Love that I can take it from wedding to date night to cocktails with friends. But most of all, I love that it really reflects my personal style. It's not easy finding a dress that is simple yet interesting and can be worn more than once.  I felt like I didn't need any accessories aside from a statement ring (this one is by Carissa Evangelista, borrowed from a friend) and a simple clutch (bargain find!). These Zara wedges have been my go - to wedding heels for the past couple of years! They are extremely comfortable and great for garden settings. Aside from the shoes, I'm wearing Filipino designed and handcrafted pieces. Makes me really really proud.

This has turned out to be an incredibly fun and inspiring trip. In just ten days I've managed to visit a handful of local shops and designers, discover new favorite restaurants, and spend some quality time with friends and family. So sad to have missed a few people since it was really short and sweet - but that gives me more reason to come back again soon. I've got a lot more photos to share - can't wait to get it all up!

Thanks for dropping by!
