I can't get enough of all the amazing steals and deals everywhere this time of year! I've picked up a lot of insane bargains over the past few weeks. The winner in my book has got to be Nordstrom Rack. These flat suede over-the-knee boots were a fraction (of a fraction...) of what I had initially been eyeing.  I don't like diving into trends, but I do like stepping out of my comfort zone once in a while. Because the quality, comfort and price all fit the bill - I didn't hesitate and bit the bullet. SO glad I did. I've discovered that they are actually pretty flattering! 

Minus the accessories, this ensemble is a super steal - the cashmere sweater is a thrift store score ( the men's section has the best sweaters - I wear this almost every day!), and the skirt is from Forever 21. Nothing gets me more excited than finding a good deal and seamlessly mixing high-low pieces.
