I talk a lot about comfort and how it reigns supreme in my wardrobe. That goes hand-in-hand with polish and practicality. It's not enough for something to be comfortable — I'm drawn to pieces that exude refinement with simple yet thoughtful details, have an enduring quality and can keep up with my on-the-go lifestyle. Oh, and add easy care to that list. If it needs to be dry cleaned, it's almost always a no-go.

These Cigarette Pants from Carbon 38 are my current favorite bottoms. They are actually technical trousers — I can stay comfortable if I'm out and about working up a sweat. Did I mentioned they're perfect for traveling because they're lightweight and wrinkle resistant? The seams and of-the-moment front slit are unique, elevated details.

Transitional dressing in San Francisco calls for easy knits that can layer effortlessly. This Belted Cardigan from &OtherStories is made from 100% cotton — perfect for my sensitive skin and great to wear year-round. The wrap detail and oversized silhouette make it cozy yet sophisticated.

I've pretty much worn my Gucci mules to the ground since I got them over a year ago. I'm about to get them re-soled, and decided to invest in a second pair — this time in the Brixton style for versatility.

The Mansur Gavriel Mini Lady Bag is definitely one of my most-loved purses. It's perfectly sized for everyday and having both a cross-body strap and top handle make it so versatile and easy to carry. I got it in the Saffiano leather because it wears so well  (it resists scratches and spills).
