Here are some shots I took at this weekend's wedding. I was extremely excited to work with Yoshio and Steph because of their wonderfully casual and personal approach to their special day. They are the sweetest couple and made my job so easy. The gorgeous location in Los Gatos featured lush gardens, lakes, and a charming barn. Naturally, we let our minds run free and the place inspired all the details. Everything came together beautifully with the help of the couple's friends and family. No one held back and lovingly offered ideas, time, and manual labor.

The color scheme consisted of shades of pink, purple, and chartreuse. Steph wanted the floral arrangements to look freshly "hand-picked" and casually elegant as opposed to overly done and "perfect". I used a combination of hydrangeas, dahlias, lisianthus, stock, and a beautiful selection of garden roses in wooden boxes and over 600 assorted mason jars. Handcrafted signs, chalkboard table numbers, votive candles in mason jars, personalized place cards, and a s'mores display in the barn contributed to the warm and cozy feel of the event.
