Hello from New York! The hubby and I escaped for a fun weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday and we got extremely lucky with the springtime vibes (in February!?). We were expecting snow and rain so I definitely packed all of the coats — totally unnecessary with the temps reaching the 70's on Friday. This lightweight bomber got the most use (perfect for layering in this cool yet sunny weather).
One of my latest hero pieces are these cropped flares from the WhoWhatWear x Target collection. Not only do they elevate any look —they're also unbelievably comfortable, flattering and work well with flats or heels.
Exaggerated, embellished sleeves and crisp shirting are all the rage right now — definitely a design detail I'm loving at the moment. It's a refreshing departure from off-shoulder styles and a modern update to the classic borrowed-from-the-boys essential.
