Dressing for the rain is always such a challenge. I want to be dry and comfortable in weather-appropriate outerwear, and safety is a priority so I make sure to slip on boots that can handle a storm. Managing to do this with ease while keeping my look interesting is a tough task — I often fall into the "all black everything hole" this time of year. The best way to combat the dreary weather, while still keeping things simple-yet-cool? A non-black raincoat and practical, functional accessories. I picked up this parka from Uniqlo over a year ago and it has been a hero piece in my closet. It's a great outer layer than works well over thicker knits because of its oversized silhouette, it's extremely lightweight (aka great for travel), and has a ton of pockets. This belt bag from COS has been my go-to accessory — it keeps me from drowning in layers by highlighting my waist, and at the same time holds everything I need throughout the day.

How do you like to dress for the rain? Many thanks for dropping by! Have a wonderful weekend.
